All the tutors are seasoned travelers and understand not only the theory required but the pressures and demands made on both volunteer and paid teachers

Course Details

GlobalXperience offers two options for TEFL accreditation.

A weekend TEFL course offers a combination of first-hand practical experience as well as theoretical tuition, which is the best possible preparation for entering the classroom. You’ll learn the principles of effective teaching as well as a range of a range of practical skills for teaching English to adults, giving you the confidence and materials to enter a foreign classroom and teach English. This option is strongly recommended if you want to take paid TEFL work, because of its emphasis on practical capability.

A 40-hour online TEFL course is the alternative. You can do this anywhere and anytime to learn the principles of teaching English as a foreign language. (If you want TEFL skills to augment your volunteer work, this may be the option for you.)
